Management
Dr Tilo Dresig
Dr Tilo Dresig has been serving as the CEO of Viridium Group since summer 2021. His areas of responsibility include Investments, Legal, People & Sustainability, Communications and Internal Audit. He joined Viridium in autumn 2018 as CFO and was responsible for upgrading the group’s financial and investment capabilities as well as the financial integration of Proxalto. Prior to this, he spent 16 years in senior roles within the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs in London and Frankfurt. He began his professional career in the CFO board area at Allianz Group.
Johannes Berkmann
As Group CFO, Johannes Berkmann has been responsible for Accounting, Actuarial Accounting, LifeCo Steering, Controlling, Treasury and M&A, Tax, Procurement and Facility Management since summer 2021. He had previously been Head of M&A since 2017 and, from 2018, Head of Accounting and Controlling. Before Viridium, he worked for five years at Cinven and for five years at McKinsey & Company.
Michael Havas
Michael Havas has been Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Viridium Group since April 2024. He is responsible for Customer Service, Claims as well as Integration and Process Management. Prior to this, he served as Head of Customer Service at Viridium from September 2022. Before joining Viridium, he was CEO of the Shared Service Center of Erste Bank and the Austrian savings banks and held various management positions in Customer Service and Digitalisation at Telefónica, Telekom Austria and others.
Christoph Kecher
Christoph Kecher joined Viridium as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in April 2024. His responsibilities include all IT functions of the Group. Before joining Viridium, he held various management positions related to IT and digitalisation, such as CTO at Hamburg Commercial Bank and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at HSBC in Dusseldorf. Earlier at HSBC, he also served in other management roles, such as Head of Software Development, Project and Programme Manager, IT Architect and Software Developer.
Michael Sattler
Michael Sattler has been overseeing Risk Management and Compliance since November 2019. He is also responsible for the functions of the Responsible Actuary, Actuarial Mathematics as well as Independent Risk Controlling. Previously, Michael Sattler served as Group CFO of Viridium Group since 2014. He has held executive positions at Heidelberger Lebensversicherung AG since 2004, including Responsible Actuary and Head of Actuarial Mathematics, Finance and Product Development.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board of Viridium Holding AG consists of six members, with Rolf-Peter Hoenen serving as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Previously, Rolf-Peter Hoenen was Spokesman of the Management Board of HUK-Coburg Versicherungen from 1990 to 2009 and President of the German Insurance Association (GDV) from 2008 to 2012. Since 2013, he has also been a member of the rating committee of the rating agency Assekurata.
