Who we are: Viridium in a few sentences
The Viridium Group is the leading provider in the efficient management of life insurance portfolios in Germany. This means: We acquire life insurance companies and their policy, integrate them into an specially devoloped IT and portfolio management system. We continue to manage them/the policies reliably over the entire term of the policies, in the interest of all stakeholders.
With this rapidly growing business model, which is still comparatively new in Germany, we are helping to ensure that life insurance will remain a reliable and attractive component of personal provision for millions of policyholders in Germany in the future.
We currently manage about four million insurance policies and assets of almost 68 billion euros. In April we completed the successful acquisition of Generali Lebensversicherung AG which is operating under the brand Proxalto Lebensversicherung AG since October 2019. We are thus further expanding our role as pioneer and innovator in this field.
How we work: our daily challenges
We acquire and integrate companies and their employees - constant and sustainable changes are therefore part of our daily work. Integrating and managing life insurance portfolios is a challenging task - expert knowledge, professional excellence and being prudent while making decisions and taking actions is therefore indispensable for our daily activities. Our business model is largely based on efficiency - speed and will to perform are important in our lean and flexibly organised teams.
